At Kick Butt Coffee again this week and still impressed by the "cool" vibe of this place. I'm sitting here in a comfortable booth (procrastinating) and listening to some really good live tunes. My large, iced Americano coffee with 4 shots of espresso is absolutely delicious and the perfect drink while I attempt to write 2 papers. This modern, chic coffee shop has live music in the evenings and they sure know how to choose some good musicians. As Punny Girl and I walked through the door after grabbing a yummy dinner at Which Wich, we were initially hesitant about "studying" here because of the less-than-soft music. However, we decided to give it a try and we both loved it. The act was a one man band by the name of D.B. Martin band. One keyboard + one voice = good tunes, definitely something to check out. Lounge-type music with some tones of rock here and there, very soulful. Falling in love with this place, one more reason to LOVE Austin.
